Key tasks

This role works with the Reservations Manager and Assistant Reservations Manager to ensure excellent overall operation of the Reservations Department. Handles customer/client issues and cover the Assistant Reservations Manager’s responsibilities in her absence. The position will organize and coordinate the Reservation Team's work. It will establish and reinforce a high level of cooperation between the Revenue and Reservations Teams as well as with among other departments.

KEY TASKS
- Receive process and confirm guest reservations made by/ for clients over phone, personally, internet, fax or e-mail
- Ensure clients’ profiles are merged and up-to-date
- Responsible for wholesale reservations: distribution to Reservations Agents, confirmation to client while ensuring correct information is entered
- Handle French-speaking requests
- Track late cancellations report and payments
- In charge of Travel Agency commissions’ reconciliation
- Ensure an excellent quality of service is provided to the customers within the procedure time-frame. This applies particularly to any communication made for reservations made on 3rd parties
- Ensure accurate integration of reservations through a daily review of upcoming arrivals. This process will guarantee all procedures are followed and information is correctly transferred
- Support the implementation of the revenue and rate strategy defined by the Director of Revenue Management
- Support the implementation of the revenue and rate strategy defined by the Director of Revenue Management
- Respect and apply the hotel and brand's pricing and distribution strategy
