Essential and optional requirements

- Minimum 3 year experience as General Manager – Economy Brand in Asia Pacific, preferable with hotel opening experience.
- Outstanding leadership with strong sensibility to local culture and strong adaptability to local environment.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English is required; other languages would be a plus.
- Able to create and drive a dynamic team with enabling & collaborative leadership style.

Key tasks

- Lead the hotel opening tasks to meet all ibis Styles Brand standards and ibis Styles Guest experience
- Set opening budget and financial commitments for all teams within each departments P&L
- Prepare and initiate all Sales, Distribution and Digital activities to ensure successful business activity as soon as the hotel is ready to open
- Lead Talent & Culture activities including employee recruitment and employee training in line with ibis Styles brand standard and service
- Ensure strong and successful relationship with all stakeholders, including owning company,  local Authorities and surrounding Community
