Key tasks

• To supervise the laundry operation that it is operating smoothly and their related services are available and carried out with the most efficiency and courtesy.
• To handle guest complaint about laundry.
• To supervise the Laundry employees, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained .
• To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• To maintain a record of cleaning schedule i.e. machine cleaning, utensils cleaning, wall cleaning, floor cleaning and general laundry cleaning.
• To report to the Housekeeping Manager all necessary maintenance  and to maintain the record. 
• To assist running linen and uniform inventories.
• To handle lost and found items correctly as per the standard and procedure.
• To coordinate and supervise the cleaning of the working area and the equipment.
• To attend training and meeting as and when required.
