Essential and optional requirements

- Minimum of 5 years operational management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- A proven leader with a high level of motivation and a proven track of results with an emphasis on both individual and team accountability.
- Fluency in English required, Vietnamese highly preferred; other additional languages represent a definite asset.
- Must perform well under stress and be adaptable to changing work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative.
- Strong organizational, oral and written communications and listening skills.

We are currently recruiting for a passionate, high-quality Executive Chef to join our team here at the Grand Mercure Da Nang hotel. 

As Executive Chef, you are fully responsible for maintaining the reputation of Grand Mercure Da Nang hotel through:
- Producing excellent quality food
- Encouraging and supporting a brigade 
- Having a hands approach with the supervision of all service operations on a day to day basis
- Maintaining excellent presentation standards and cost control for all food and beverage outlets
- Ensuring strict stock rotation and minimum wastage whilst having stock control procedures implemented and maintained
- Ensuring the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire Kitchen brigade to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines.
