Essential and optional requirements

- Minimum of three years hotel management level experience in a similar role in a luxury setting;
- Management experience in leading a team of 4 persons; required to coach and strive for results
- A strong understanding of hotel operations, catering or banquet/event management;
- Can take the initiative and use new concepts and innovation to drive business and revenue opportunities;
- Articulate verbal and written communications skills. Fluent English is essential; Any Asian language is a plus.

Key tasks

- Coordinate with guests/clients regarding inquiries for hosting events &/or catering;
- Cultivate strong client relationships/partnerships, ensuring client satisfaction;
- Ensure all events are successful through positive experiences from guests/clients and staff;
- Conduct regular meetings with the Events team and liaise with the F&B Department to review upcoming events as well as attend Banquet Event Meetings; inform all necessary departments of any updates or changes;
- Coordinate with Executive Chef for revisions and updates of the catering menu regularly, reflecting culinary trends and guests/clients needs;
- Create a Magnifique experience for clients with the Banquet Team with regards to proper set-up, event execution.
- Create and review annual budget , monthly forecast as well as justification of P&L.
