Essential and optional requirements

1 years working experience in the position of DOS at international brand hotels.
Sufficient knowledge and understanding of Revenue Management.
Extensive networking of people shaping the business, travel agents, corporate decision makers, influencers, media connection
Think “out of the box”, creative, always seeking new ways to position and market the hotel in what is a very tough competitive environment
Ability to train and develop team members. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
Patient, professional with good communication and people skills.

Key tasks

Report to the General Manager and supervise the Sales and Marketing team.
Directs and manages all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel.
Be catalyst in driving hotel revenue on many levels through a structured and measured approach with revenue indexes and new revenue streams.
Plan and develop promotional strategies and sales & marketing plans to increase business volume and market share. Ensure and monitor implementation of the plan and evaluate effectiveness.
Evaluates changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary.
Participates in community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote a positive image.
