Essential and optional requirements

- Minimum 5-7 years experience as an Executive Chef in luxury hotels with banquet operations.
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts.
- Passion for creating and enhancing culinary style and exhibiting passion for culinary arts.
- Proven creativity and execution of F&B programs.
- Able to develop strong work relationships with both guests and colleagues.
- Good communication, leadership, analytical, exemplary culinary and initiative skills.
- FOODSAFE knowledge, workplace hazardous material.

Key tasks

The position is responsible for the production of the food and beverage department and to assist each outlet chef in the preparation of menus which meet the market needs, to assist with training and developing culinary employees in all areas. To work closely with purchasing team to ensure that only the freshest and highest quality products on the market are bought for the outlets.-
- Responsible for development and smooth operation of the kitchen with emphasis on quality and presentation.
- Responsible for all food production of the Hotel and develop menus, food purchase specifications, food presentation and recipes.
- Ensure that all menus are created using guest feedback, industry trends, competitive intelligence, seasonal offerings and all service standards.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations are compliant with Food Safety and Sanitation/HACCP standards and policies at all time.
- Assist in the annual planning of the F&B budget as it pertains to the kitchen (food cost, productivities), as well as implementation and regular monitoring of the budget/forecasts.
